During the first quarter of 2022, the leading Travel and Local apps on the Android platform in Greece displayed diverse performance metrics. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and active users trends, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Earth experienced a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting with approximately 5.8K downloads at the end of December, peaking at around 6.7K in the first week of January, and then gradually stabilizing to an average of 3.6K downloads by the end of March. Weekly active users for the app remained relatively stable, starting at 25K and peaking at 27.3K in late February before settling to around 26.4K by the end of the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw its weekly downloads start at 3.9K at the end of December, with a noticeable increase to about 5.9K downloads in mid-March. Throughout the quarter, the app maintained a robust number of weekly active users, beginning at 71.2K and peaking at 75.7K in mid-March, before ending the quarter with around 69.8K active users.

Aegean Airlines showed more modest download numbers, starting with 3.2K downloads in late December, peaking at 4.2K in early January, and then stabilizing at around 2.4K downloads by the end of March. The app’s weekly active users started at 11.8K, reached a peak of 12.9K in the first week of January, and then fluctuated around 10K towards the end of the quarter.

OASA Telematics maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, starting at 2.6K downloads in late December and ending with a similar count of 2.6K by the end of March. Weekly active users for the app showed stability, starting at 41.8K and remaining around 40.7K by the end of March, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Finally, WalletPasses | Passbook Wallet had a significant drop in downloads from 8.6K at the end of December to around 1.2K by mid-March, before stabilizing at approximately 1.2K downloads. The app’s weekly active users followed a declining trend, starting at 13.6K in late December and decreasing to about 6.8K by the end of March.
